Hermitage Richmond is pleased to announce the promotion of Matt Dameron to a newly created position, Assistant Executive Director. In his new role, Matt will serve as Administrator of Record for the Grove and for Assisted Living. In addition, he will provide leadership to the following departments: Nursing, Dining Services, and Housekeeping/Laundry.

Matt has been serving Hermitage Richmond as Director of Resident Services for more than three years, and for the past year and a half has been going through an Administrator in Training Program.

Matt graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management and a minor in Business. He has been working in retirement communities for more than eight years, and is a licensed Long-Term Care Administrator in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
