70th Anniversary Celebrations

Pinnacle Living is celebrating 70 years of Enriching Life’s Journey. To kick-off this momentous year, celebratory events took place at Cedarfield and Hermitage Richmond over the weekend of Saturday, September 29 – Sunday, September 30, 2018.

PINNACLE LIVING CELEBRATION AT CEDARFIELD

With the theme “The Future Looks Bright”, the evening began with an opening prayer and a reflection on our history. Next, residents from each of our communities were honored. The resident selected was an individual that best demonstrates our vision of “a culture in which age does not define the person”. Following the program, attendees explored the new community expansion areas of Prima, Pub 2100 & Cedar Grill while enjoying food, drink and music. Virtual tours were given for a sneak peek at what the future of Cedarfield will be once construction is complete.

A big thank you to our event sponsors. We value your continued partnership as we fulfill our mission.

HERMITAGE RICHMOND CELEBRATION

Sunday’s event was focused on “Celebrating 7 Decades”. A campus map guided attendees through the seven decades the organization has grown and transitioned through. Each decade showcased their music, trends, fashion and historic moments. The weekend concluded with a worship service led by Martha Stokes, Director of Church and Community Relations, and Rev. Charles Wickham, Director of Donor Development. Rev. C. Warner Crumb, former Hermitage Richmond administrator and current Hermitage Roanoke resident, offered the opening prayer. Special items from each decade were placed at the alter. Rev. Dr. Peter Moon, Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church Richmond District Superintendent, offered the sermon titled “A Clay Jar Full of Memories”.
